Against the backdrop of the deepening strategic deployment of "National Essential Equipment," CNC lathes—a core segment of the "industrial mother machine" sector—are experiencing a dual surge in intensive policy support and breakthrough technological innovation.

At the policy level, a multidimensional support framework has been established, solidifying the institutional foundation for the industry’s growth. In September 2025, the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) jointly issued the Construction Plan for the High-Quality Standardization System of Industrial Mother Machines. The plan stipulates that by 2026, no fewer than 300 standards will be established or revised, with China leading the development of at least five international standards. Furthermore, the international standard conversion rate is projected to hit 90%, focusing on core areas such as high-end CNC systems and high-performance functional components.

This framework achieves full-chain standardization—from basic general requirements to specific industry applications—providing top-level strategic guidance for the standardized and internationalized development of the CNC lathe industry. Meanwhile, fiscal support is ramping up; the state has extended central fiscal subsidies for the industrial mother machine sector through 2026–2027, with a total allocation of 420 billion RMB.

The market demand structure continues to optimize as application scenarios expand. The vigorous development of strategic emerging industries—such as new energy vehicles (NEVs), aerospace, and medical devices—is driving the demand for CNC lathes to shift from "quantity-based growth" to "quality-based enhancement." Consequently, high precision, multi-tasking (composite) capabilities, and intelligence have become the mainstream directions of the market.

Looking ahead to 2026, the policy orientation of using "unconventional measures" to promote full-chain technological breakthroughs will become even clearer, especially as the 15th Five-Year Plan designates "industrial mother machines" as a key strategic priority under the "National Essential Equipment" framework. Under the dual influence of policy guidance and market drivers, domestic CNC lathes are leaping from "following" to "paralleling" and even "leading" international standards. This progress lays a solid foundation for building an autonomous and controllable industrial ecosystem and supporting the high-quality development of the manufacturing sector.

In response to these favorable measures, the Company stated that it will focus on the development needs of the national manufacturing industry, actively align with policy directives, and deepen research in key core technologies to contribute to the high-quality advancement of the manufacturing industry.
